In sports like soccer or ballet, the strength of the OE may decrease.

During a one-leg stand test from a chair, the patient may complain of instability.

Even if there is a decrease in the strength of the OE, it is often compensated by other muscles, so the patient may not be aware of it.

However, hip joint instability may increase, which could raise the risk of other injuries or decreased performance.

It might be a good idea to check it regularly.
