Lower limb muscle weakness of unknown etiology presents a significant clinical challenge. This report describes a case where ultrasound-guided lumbar nerve root acupuncture and electrical stimulation therapy (UGLNRAEST) yielded positive outcomes in a patient with refractory symptoms.
Patient: Female high school student Chief complaint: Recurrent falls, lower limb muscle weakness History: Patient experienced sudden knee weakness leading to falls, occurring 3-4 times per month for several years.
